When you say networking here in Georgia, the first person who pops into our mind is Ricky Steele. No wonder a record crowd turned out for the 7:30 am wake-up call meeting at King & Spalding's offices to gather pearls of wisdom from Ricky on the subject he has raised to art form.

His presentation "7 Habits of Highly Effective Networkers" offered no-nonsense tips on how to maximize networking opportunities for the betterment of your business, your career and, in many ways, your soul. Two additional tips not on the slides -- approach your business dealings from a servant leadership perspective and make an effort to love everyone you meet (very different from liking them).
